We are a young company specialising in web and software development. The company was established in 2004 by two university graduates and close fiends Tom Howsam and Adam Paxton.

The main skills you need for this industry are:

HTML, CSS, ASP.net C#, XML
Other than the technical we look for outgoing fun people who fit well with the company’s relaxed attitude.

A typical day at work is:

Depending on your role in the company a ‘typical’ day can vary hugely. The developers will spend 90% of the day wring ASP.net C# code. Other members of the company will meet with clients, answer technical support questions and look for new business.

The advice I would give a young person wanting a career in this line of work is:

It takes a certain person to sit all day in front of a computer looking at code. If you can do that and enjoy creating websites and researching web technologies then web development maybe your thing.

Things we look for in a employee are:

A confident friendly person who enjoys a bit of office banter. Technically they must be confident in a development language, ideally asp.net and be able to work alone and as part of a group.
